Content The importance of design reviews to the success of the project Building a design history The design review programme: initial, intermediary and final reviews Who should attend and their participation What is a design review procedure? Building enthusiasm for the design review procedure Design review: forms and documents Recording systems and action points Feed-back systems Linking completed project reviews to future design reviews to build a continuous improvement system
Methodology Delegates will be encouraged to take an active part in discussions and record areas where it is felt improvements could be made to the existing design review procedure
Delegates may work through their company’s existing design review documents and forms to discuss, identify problem areas, suggest modifications if appropriate and to ensure the complete procedure is fully understood
Delegates will work through a short Design Review example to demonstrate their effectiveness
